Sorry Fish, it’s 2020 and apparently to some Millennials you’re not that relevant anymore. A new generation is more than ready to take over. Sorry could just be one of those bands who leads the revolt, so let’s give their debut 925 a closer listen.

Anna Meredith – Varmints
When I was a toddler I often wondered what it would be like to be inside our washing machine. The spinning cycle was pretty hypnotizing to watch, so at the time I thought being inside a drum with all that warm soapy clothing would be a gentle experience. Of course my parents never allowed me to give it a try and I forgot all about it. Until I heard Anna Meredith that is.
Mac DeMarco – Salad Days
24-year-old Canadian, Mac DeMarco doesn’t mind to stir things up a bit. His onstage behavior is memorable to many. Heavy drinking, smoking, nudity, obscenity and indecent jokes are a regular part of his sloppy looking performances. At home things are not very tidy as well. The Guardian describes his house to be a dump and quotes him saying “I live like a scumbag, but it’s cheap”. Continue reading
